Thank You: 200 People Showed Up for the 2026 Psychedelic Freedom Conference

Two hundred people walked through the doors of the 2026 Psychedelic Freedom Conference. Not just an audience. A room full of people who came to learn, to ask hard questions, and to take care of each other while they did it.

Here is what that looked like in numbers:

  • 126 attendees
  • 25 speakers
  • 25 volunteers
  • 19 vendors
  • 5 board members
  • 70 people who stayed for the after party

Together, this community raised more than $25,000 to support the conference and the work ahead.

What was on the program

Lieutenant Sarko Gergerian opened the day with his keynote on awakening the warrior to the guardian. Shane Mauss brought TRIPS and a comedian’s honesty to questions most of us only whisper about. Between them, we heard from clinicians, researchers, attorneys, and practitioners on subjects that ranged from ketamine pharmacopeia and ibogaine for opioid use disorder, to psilocybin for CPTSD, chronic pain, the plasticity window, and the HPA axis in veterans. The Bioenergetics of Neuroplasticity, Reciprocity with Earth Mother and Medicines, In Defense of Religious Use of Psychedelics, Beneath the Badge, and a sound journey into non-ordinary states all found their audiences.

Three panels ran through the day: Integration and Ethics, Ketamine Treatments, and Wisdom of the Vine.

About the media

We are still working through the media and audio files from the conference. There is a lot of it, and it deserves careful attention rather than a rushed upload. Photos, video, and the slides will go up as soon as we can get them ready. Thank you for your patience while we sort through it.

If you are looking for audio only, Rhy Norton, our treasurer, has already edited and posted the recordings. You can listen to them right here:

Thank you

To every one of our speakers, who brought real work and real answers. To our volunteers, who gave up their Saturday and then some. To our vendors, who filled the hall and the grounds with things worth bringing home. To our sponsors, whose support underwrote the whole day. To the board, who held the container. And to everyone who bought a ticket and showed up open. This conference happened because each of you decided it was worth being part of.

What comes next

We are already planning the next conference. Dates are being worked out now. Applications are open for speakers, vendors and sponsors, and volunteers, and you are welcome to get in on the ground floor:

Thank you for a day none of us will forget.
