We’re Looking for a Social Media Rockstar!

Do you have a passion for storytelling, conscious connection, and building community through creative media? Want to use your gifts in service of the psychedelic renaissance and help inspire healing, curiosity, and change?

The Psychedelic Society of the Ozarks (PSOTO) is looking for a dedicated Social Media Volunteer to help us grow our online presence across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. This is a heart-centered opportunity to bring your digital marketing talents to a cause that matters.

🌿 What You’ll Do:

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll:

  • Create & schedule posts (graphics, reels, stories, updates, and more) using our branding and messaging strategy

  • Manage engagement on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Channel, and LinkedIn

  • Attend in-person events when possible to capture real-time photos/videos (with respect to privacy wishes of attendees)

  • Collaborate with our Membership and Events Committees to keep content aligned with happenings and announcements

  • Help us grow our visibility and voice with authentic, consistent content

📆 Time Commitment:

  • About 5 hours per week

  • Additional time may be needed during key events and conferences

  • Attend monthly meetings (optional but encouraged)

🌟 Who You Are:

  • Passionate about PSOTO’s mission of education, advocacy, and conscious community

  • Experienced or eager to grow your skills in content creation, social media strategy, or digital storytelling

  • Organized, consistent, and self-motivated

  • Comfortable using tools like Canva, Facebook Meta, and similar

  • Bonus: you’re building a portfolio or looking for meaningful projects to showcase your work

🌀 Why This Matters:

This is more than a volunteer role — it’s a chance to contribute to a growing movement that’s cultivating safer psychedelic spaces, supporting integration, and building real-world reciprocity efforts. The recent conference has posted a flag in the Ozarks and we want to keep that momentum going.

Together, we’re amplifying voices, educating our community, and forming bridges of support for people of all backgrounds — including youth in the Shipibo tribe of Pucallpa, Peru, and unhoused veterans right here in Springfield, MO.

📩 Ready to Join the Movement?

If this lights you up, reach out to us via email at hello@psychedelicsoto.org and tell us a bit about yourself. We’d love to connect.
