Missouri’s First Full-Day Psychedelic Conference Features Visionary Voices in Healing, Science, and Sacred Practice
Springfield, MO — The Psychedelic Society of the Ozarks (PSOTO), in collaboration with Psychedelic Missouri, is proud to announce that Ron Hicks, one of the country’s most respected voices in psychedelic advocacy and integration, will serve as keynote speaker at the inaugural Psychedelic Freedom Conference on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the Paradise Ballrooms at the Oasis Convention Center in Springfield, MO.
Ron Hicks, former MO State Representative, is a nationally recognized educator and community builder whose work bridges indigenous knowledge, trauma-informed care, and community healing through plant medicine. His presence at this event signals a powerful moment for the Ozarks region and the broader psychedelic movement.
In a gesture of deep alignment with the conference’s mission, Hicks is donating his time and energy to speak—asking for nothing in return. “This is about showing up where the work is being done,” Hicks shared. “The real revolution starts in community.”
🎤 Conference Highlights:
The Psychedelic Freedom Conference will explore the intersection of psychedelic science, spirituality, and mental health. Topics include:
- Neuroscience & Molecular Research
- Trauma Recovery & Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy
