Matt Brake is a plant medicine advocate and guide, and founder of Medicine Dreamer. He has been working with ayahuasca and other plant medicines of the Amazon since 2009, guiding hundreds of ayahuasca ceremonies throughout Europe and the Americas. He currently facilitates ayahuasca dietas at Centro Munay in the Peruvian Amazon while continuing to support the preservation of medicine culture with the Shipibo people.
His personal teachers include Don José Campos, Stuart Wilde, Darpan, and several others. He is a Master Level Kambo Practitioner with 26 years of yoga experience, including 300 hours of Iyengar and 500 hours of Kundalini teacher training. He is certified in energy medicine and transcutaneous acupuncture by The Holos Institute for Health, and is the founder and festival director of EMC2 Wellness & Music Festival.
At the PSOTO Conference, Matt presents “Ayahuasca: The Double Helixing of Science and Woo” — exploring both scientific and traditional perspectives on the medicine, how it works, and its role in the current psychedelic revolution.
