Dr. Christine “Mooncat” Ziemer is a tenured professor of psychology at Missouri Western State University and has developed original courses on psychedelics and transpersonal psychology. Dr. Ziemer is a co-founder and executive director of the Psychedelic Society of Kansas City and a board member of the Heartland Transpersonal Alliance.
They co-founded and lead the Kansas City Psychedelic Integration Circle and the global Psychedelic Educators Network. They have served as a psychedelic peer support volunteer for several years with organizations such as the Zendo Project, Fireside Project peer support line, and Safe Journeys Sanctum, and have helped shape the curriculum for Midwest Psychedelic, a Missouri therapist training program for psychedelic-assisted therapy.
A long-distance runner, fire spinner, and mother of two, Dr. Ziemer is passionate about psychedelic education, peer support practices, and community building.
