Meeting Recaps: 10/15 & 10/27
prepared by Christy Claybaker, Committee Chair
The PSOTO Digital Development Committee has been quietly (and steadily) building the energetic and technical backbone for the Society’s next evolution. Think of it as moving from “startup scrappiness” into “solid infrastructure”! LOL
Below is a summary of progress and next priorities.
Platform Migration & Infrastructure
We are preparing to migrate all PSOTO digital assets into a dedicated ecosystem to better support growth, privacy, and organization:
PSOTO Gmail Workspace (email + team Drive)
Website hosting
Shared file system structure
This migration ensures our digital house reflects the maturity of our mission and protects the integrity of our community.
Status: Migration scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 5pm.
Updated Communications SOP
We are refining internal communication systems and preparing for seamless integration between:
MailerLite (email campaigns + membership communications)
Website automations
Internal SOP documentation
Goal: clearer, cleaner communication touchpoints for members, partners, and the public.
Conference Content Activation
We captured a wealth of footage and educational moments from the 2025 Psychedelic Freedom Conference. Instead of letting that gold collect digital dust, we are weaving it into regular outreach:
Social media content
Blog highlights
Newsletter features
This is how we continue the conversation—not just one day, but year-round.
Content Posting System & Calendar
We are still looking for a volunteer to be in charge of our social media. Until then, our committee has launched a shared Digital Content Calendar via Google Workspace.
Posting rhythm goal: 3 posts per week, rotating through these categories:
Website resource links
Re-shares of community/organizational member content
Conference content
psychedelic research + mental health findings
Policy & legislative updates
Monthly meeting speakers + event reminders
Each scheduled post is marked COMPLETE after publishing to help keep flow organized and clear.
Organizational Membership Visibility Plan
We are moving forward with a refined structure that balances transparency, accessibility, and member value. The Board has officially approved the updated membership model, which includes:
Public visibility for all organizational members
A paid-member-only access page featuring exclusive discounts and perks from organizational partners
This model amplifies community recognition while giving paying members meaningful benefits—not just access, but real value.
Rollout begins as soon as migration and site updates are finalized.
This shift reflects our commitment to reciprocity, inclusivity, and clear energetic exchange within the PSOTO ecosystem.
More updates coming soon. Until then, stay curious, stay connected, and stay grounded in the medicine of community.
