A New Chapter for the Psychedelic Society of the Ozarks

Organizations evolve.

Communities evolve.

People evolve.

Since our founding, the Psychedelic Society of the Ozarks has been committed to creating opportunities for learning, connection, and thoughtful conversation surrounding psychedelics, mental health, and consciousness. What began as a small grassroots effort has steadily grown into a regional nonprofit serving individuals through educational programming, community events, integration support, and our annual Psychedelic Freedom Conference.

Over time, we recognized that our visual identity no longer reflected the organization we had become.

Our new brand honors both our roots and our future.

Inspired by the Ozark landscape, the logo features rolling hills and a winding path that symbolize the many journeys people undertake in pursuit of healing, resilience, understanding, and personal growth. The rising sun speaks to hope, awareness, and the transformative power of education. At its center, a rooted symbol reminds us that true growth requires grounding, responsibility, and care.

This evolution also reflects the values formally adopted by our Board of Directors: Education, Community, Integrity, Responsibility, and Respect for Diverse Traditions. These values continue to guide every decision we make and every space we create.

As we prepare for the 2026 Psychedelic Freedom Conference, themed Knowledge for the Front Lines, we do so with renewed clarity about who we are and why this work matters.

We believe communities deserve access to accurate information, compassionate dialogue, and opportunities to engage with emerging conversations about mental health, resilience, and human well-being.

The future of this work requires courage, curiosity, and collaboration.

We’re honored to walk this path together.
